Google quickly removes an Android publishers applications after discovering embedded Trojans.

An application provider for the Android platform had all their products removed from the Android Marketplace after it was discovered they basically hijacked other developers code, inserted malicious Trojans, and resold them as their own.

Apple has a much stricter review process which makes approval much more difficult but does keep the products cleaner from malicious content. There is obviously a trade off on quantity versus quality and we can be sure that the Google process will be modified to screen for this in the future.
