Stanford researchers can possibly double WiFi capacity

Stanford researchers have developed a methodology that allows bi-directional communication over traditional radio airways. In the past, radio communication was limited to one direction at a time so while one person was talking the recipient could only listen.

With bi-directional communication the usable bandwidth is effectively doubled opening many new opportunities to increase and improve WiFi communications globally.
